Before you start, make sure you have one thousand milliliters of D-76 in a beaker, mixed one to one. Have three trays ready to go in the sink. From left to right, you should have two trays of water and one tray of fixer. Put the slosher in the first tray on the left for pre-soaking. Set the timer for your development time. Turn off the lights now. Unload your film. When you put your film into the slosher, keep it emulsion side up, the same way it comes out of the holder. If you're not done moving your film into the slosher, pause this recording now. Let your film sit in the presoak for about another minute. This recording will count every minute for development, up to thirteen minutes. When your timer runs out, gently move the slosher into the second tray to stop developing, regardless of how far this recording has counted. If you need more than thirteen minutes for development, pause this recording as it starts the rinse period. Now, slowly lift the slosher out of the tray at an angle. Dump the presoak water out of the tray. Pour the developer into the tray. On the count of three, slowly tilt the slosher back into the tray for development. Three, two, one, start. Start your timer now. Agitate the slosher throughout the entire development period by slowly shifting it left and right, forward and back. [ count up to 13 minutes ] The slosher should now be in the second tray of water to stop developing. Agitate the slosher for about a minute to rinse. Now, gently move the slosher into the third tray for fixer. This recording will count up to eight minutes for fixing. Gently agitate the slosher for the entire fixing period. [ count up to eight minutes ] You can now safely turn on the lights to finish processing your film.
